This was led by [Naspers](https://www.naspers.com/), [one of the world’s most powerful and lowest-flying investment firms](https://techcrunch.com/2019/09/09/the-ceo-of-naspers-one-of-the-worlds-most-powerful-and-lowest-flying-investment-firms-is-coming-to-disrupt/), with significant participation from [Platform Investment Partners](https://platformips.com/), [FMO: Entrepreneurial Development Bank](https://www.fmo.nl/) and [Cathay AfricInvest Innovation](https://cathayinnovation.com/fund/cathay-africinvest-innovation/). Founded in Cape Town, South Africa, Aerobotics has quickly scaled its mission to provide customers with intelligent tools to feed the world. Aerobotics’ data is widely used for the certainty it brings to farming and food security, as the global agricultural industry stretches to meet expected population growth and food demand. Aerobotics has experienced record growth in the last few years. In the United States alone, the company’s revenue has grown in excess of an order of magnitude.
